PAI (Pediatric Aids Inisatative )

Organization got funding from Clinton Foundation for implementing pediatric ART program in the District. Under this Program organization has Doing following activities. Childcare program has been organized in the rural villages. Form 0 - 15 years growth monitoring. Nutrition food for the children and seasonal disease of the children. And primary treatment of the disease likes ORS and other primary treatment for the children. People are not aware about the primary treatment hence organization has taken awareness program in 15 villages. Healthy baby competition has taken in the yavatmal city slum area. In this program 75 parent and children has been participated. Form them we have been given education on personal hygiene as well as importance of nutrition food for children. O ne coordinator & five outreach worker have been appointed at each Taluka mention above. The main aim is to HIV + Children patient (1 to 15 years ) provides nutrition. After camp the HIV positive children referred to ART centre and also staff of the organization is taking pediatric child cases from ART dept for follow and nutrition supply and guidance. In the year organization are provided nutrition support to 124 children.
