Reproductive and Child health Programme - II (RCH)

Saiprem Gramin Vikas Sanstha, Yavatmal has been Selected as Mother NGO for the implementation of RCH Project by Family Planning Association of India, Mumbai. And RCH Society Pune. Our NGO as MNGO has started work in Mangkinhi and Sondabi, Therdi PHC in Umarkhed Taluka and effectively implementing RCH project these for the implementation of this project assisting FNGOs has been appointed by NGO. The main objective of this project is to provide medical services and facilities to the areas (villages) deprived of such services and facilities and villages, area those are remote falling under above mentioned PHC for this, Base Line Survey (BLS) has been carried by FNGO in those villages coming under above PHC.

In this survey family census, problem regarding health and facilities available there are taken into consideration. After this survey information about population in that particular area, educational facilities, information of diseases status of child from its birth up to present condition are understood and it help in decided about what facilities or services to be provided there and thus helping to prepare proposal and sent to RCH Society Pune.

In RCH project child health, secured motherhood, family planning and reproductive health are taken in consideration and all required services and facilities are provided to beneficiaries at the place of their convenience, effectively. To improve health status of women is also importance aim of this program. Many health related problem regularizing women are generally neglected. Women can not get the complete information about health matters. Thus, women have to bear the drama for greater period of time. For that purpose our MNGO organize health camps at PHC concerned. Thus, making it possible to provide health facilities to child their mother at their doorsteps and health education is also provided there.

Our MNGO participated in Leprosy operations (Family planning operation) held at Rampur PHC in Ghatanji Taluka. NSV camp has been organized by of organization and related men were given Rs. 500 as aid and a blanket at free of cost. Thus, we succeeded in maintaining birth rate in our working area. Pregnant mother death rate has reduced.
